Columbia Neurosurgery Expands Spine and Neurological Care to NewYork-Presbyterian The One in Westchester

New facility brings Columbia’s world-class expertise closer to home for Westchester patients

November 1, 2025

Columbia Neurosurgery is proud to announce that, beginning November 1, 2025, its specialists will begin seeing patients at NewYork-Presbyterian The One, a brand-new, state-of-the-art outpatient facility in Westchester County.

Inside The One

Bringing Care Within Reach, this expansion extends Columbia’s nationally recognized expertise in spine and neurological surgery to one of NewYork-Presbyterian’s most advanced multispecialty centers—offering patients seamless access to comprehensive care close to home.

Dr. Justin Neira and Dr. Peter Angevine, both distinguished spine surgeons at Columbia University Irving Medical Center, will provide expert consultation and advanced surgical care for the full spectrum of spinal and neurological conditions. Their clinical expertise spans minimally invasive and motion-preserving techniques, complex spinal reconstruction, spinal oncology and spinal cord tumors, and multidisciplinary management of degenerative and deformity-related disorders.

Our goal has always been to make world-class neurosurgical care as accessible as possible,” said Dr. E. Sander Connolly, Chair of Neurological Surgery at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. “By bringing our spine and neurosurgery team to The One, we’re giving patients throughout Westchester and the surrounding region the ability to receive the same level of expert care they would in Manhattan—right in their own community.

Located at 1111 Westchester Avenue in White Plains, The One unites ColumbiaDoctors specialists across more than 90 adult and pediatric specialties in a modern, patient-centered environment. The 260,000-square-foot facility features advanced imaging, procedure suites, and integrated specialty services designed to streamline care for patients and families.

The One represents a new model of collaborative, outpatient care,” said Dr. Peter Angevine. “Our patients will benefit from coordinated access to imaging, therapy, and consultation with other specialists, all under one roof.

We’re thrilled to bring our spine program to this incredible new space,” added Dr. Justin Neira. “For many patients, the ability to receive advanced evaluation and treatment in Westchester—while remaining connected to Columbia’s leading surgical centers—will be truly life-changing.

The addition of Columbia Neurosurgery to The One reflects NewYork-Presbyterian and ColumbiaDoctors’ shared mission to expand access to exceptional, integrated care throughout the region.
