Adult Moyamoya Program

As Moyamoya presents differently across the lifespan, our Moyamoya Center has both an adult and pediatric program. Moyamoya is most seen between 30 to 50 years old in adults and can present with signs and symptoms of brain ischemia or intracranial hemorrhage. Our mission is to reduce the risk of stroke and long-term ischemia, through neurosurgical treatments and comprehensive medical management
